Review guidelines
Every submission and every profile change is checked by a person before it goes public. This page is what we judge by; for how to make a frame, see the design guide.
| Category | Standard |
|---|---|
| Copyright | No one else's illustrations, celebrity photos, cartoon characters or copyrighted fonts. |
| Trademarks | No brand logos of any kind. |
| Likeness | No recognizable real faces on the frame. |
| Text | Text in any language is fine. Keep it legible, and keep it off the slots. |
| Quality | Slots must line up, with no visible compression artifacts. A plain single-color empty frame isn't accepted. |
| Content | No obscene, violent, hateful or political propaganda content. |
| Profile | Display name, bio and link are reviewed together: no ads, contact details or invitations to outside communities. We actually open every link to check it. |
Review time
About 5–7 business days. It may take longer over long holidays.
Infringement strikes
A rejection for infringement counts as one strike. After 3 strikes the account is permanently banned: the portfolio page and published submissions are taken down, but people who already downloaded them are not affected.
Popularity in the rankings only compares frames that are already published; it never decides which submissions get published.
